Autoresponders
Autoresponders are great tools to help you
increase your web business, and then make it easier to deliver your digital
products.First, create your own
information product. It has to be yours, it cannot be taken from
another website via cut-and-paste or copied from the internet. Make
sure it is your original work.
Need help finding an idea to write about?
You can get ideas online and then develop them yourself. Try this:
Using Google, type in allinurl: your idea into the search bar, like
this:

I used "antique furniture" as my idea.
Google searches for any websites that have "antique furniture" in the url, or
title, of the website. This is a great way to read about your topic of
interest and get ideas to started in creating your own web content.
After you have written your content you
need to convert it into a pdf, you can do this at a site called OpenOffice,
Get the "Writer" program at this site and type or paste in content, you can
edit with bold, font types, and colors, just like MS Word. When you're
done just go to "File" > "Export to PDF" and you will have a your new pdf
file which can be opened on just about any computer. If you put in
hyperlinks this writer will even make them live in the new pdf doc - make
sure you put
these links in your document so you can refer people back to your email
address and
website.
Once you have created your content you can
sell it on eBay. eBay now lets you list these types of information items,
get paid with PayPal, and then deliver them automatically. Here is how you do it:
1. Log in to eBay
2. List your information product in this category:
>"Everything Else" >"Information Products"
(for help check eBay's support at its
Digital Items Information Page)

3. Upload your pdf file to your website (or if
your website doesn't support storing pdf's use one on the net using a
digital storage site, a good one is
PayLoadz.com.
4. In your listing you will choose the
"list as digital file or information" right above the item's description, it
looks like this:
 You
will need to sign off that the item is your item (remember we talked about
this earlier?)

eBay will ask you if there are any special
instructions you want to include with your item when it gets auto-delivered:

I tell my Customers that the item will be
delivered as a pdf. Finally, eBay will ask you where the file is located so
they can access it when it is time to deliver it:

I tell my Customers how to save the file to
their desktop.
5.
Make sure you list your item at a low enough price to attract instant purchases. You
need to sell it for at least $0.99 cents if you want to sell it as a
multiple item (list more than one available).
6. I always monitor my auctions and follow
up on sales of my items with an email thanking the Buyer and I give them at
least one extra information product for free. I want happy Buyers who
will come back for more. That's it,
you're done! You now have a product you have created yourself and will be
auto-delivered when people buy it on eBay. You can read more about
eBay Information Products here.
