What holiday item is selling best on eBay?
Christmas toys are always hot selling products
on eBay. This holds true in 2006. If you look at the Fisher-Price.com
website you'll see that the HOTTEST toy of the upcoming Christmas season is
already sold out. Going on sale back in September, the
Tickle Me Elmo TMX doll is selling for
more than twice its retail price of $40. Several sites have stated
that this toy will not be back in stock until 2007, long after the lucrative
holiday season. The toy currently
ranks twice, in spots #1 and #4 on eBay's top 10 best seller list.
Not long ago retailers were fully stocked, but the Elmo TMX toys are scarce now, both
online and off. So has it reached its peak at $100?
We don't think so. We recommend buying until
the price exceeds $125, then reselling in a ten day auction window around
Thanksgiving, (Nov 16th-26th). This would allow
maximum exposure during a great shopping weekend. Your auctions would
close on Sunday the 26th, close enough to the holidays but before shoppers
start running low on cash. We not only recommend this strategy, we have
